First Napoli win : 21 December 1930, at Milan finished Napoli - Milan 3 - 2, goals by Innocenti, Vojak and Tansini for Napoli, 2 goals by Santagostino for Milan.

Biggest transfer deal : Milan had a great player in Jose Atafini, but when they eventually decided that he did not fit in their plans, it was agreed that he was not to be given to their biggest rivals. So Napoli was chosen as his destination with the condition that if Napoli re-sold him to one of Milan's competitors, Napoli would have to give a penalty of 300 million Lire to Milan. Inter immediately offered Napoli 650 million Lire for the player, but Napoli president Fiore honored the contract with Milan, the outcome was of Altafini staying at Napoli for seven years before passing to Juventus.

The Top Duels : In the 1987-88 season Napoli with Maradona and Careca run ahead of all other teams in the championship. On the first of March, Milan beat Napoli and would go on to overtake them and eventually win the scudetto. Two years later, Milan are ahead in the league and are overtaken by Napoli in the last match of the season.
